We individualize your horse's needs. We provide the attention and care you want and then observe them daily to adjust to their best care. This includes feed supplements for joint care, hoof care, nutrition etc. Medications as needed.
Health programs are maintained automatically and as needed, worming, vaccinations, etc. Hooves are trimmed as needed. We maintain all records on computer. There is an extra charge for the specific service, not the record keeping.
We groom all horses regularly to monitor their condition. The TLC & human interaction kept them healthy and happy.
Prior to arrival all horses must show proof of coggins, immunizations and recent worming. This protects everyone’s horses.

Health Care
Veterinarian Services
Horses are under our constant observation. If a horse is looking or behaving questionably, we call the Vet for an exam. We recommend an annual health exam. The Veterinarian comes out to the ranch and gives each horse a thorough exam. Emergency services will be called when needed. The ranch is remote and the Vet is an hour drive away.
Coggins Test
A negative Coggins Test for Equine Infectious Anemia, EIA within twelve months is required before arrival protecting all animals.
Dentistry
The Veterinarian will check the horse’s teeth during the annual exam. Teeth floating or other dental procedures will be done at that time or rescheduled.
Deworming
Pasture rotation and pasture harrowing is part of the health program especially important for parasite control. Your horse is dewormed every eight weeks using the rotation method of wormers. Deworming required prior to arrival and if not will worm and quarantine horse for 48 hrs.
Hoof Care
Your horse's hooves are trimmed as necessary, usually every 6 – 8 weeks. We encourage barefoot and will certainly allow corrective shoeing.
Medications
Daily medications that the ranch managers can administer will be given on schedule. Horse owners are responsible for the cost of medications and veterinary services. We will arrange the reordering of horses' medications.
Vaccinations
We schedule the vaccinations for your horse. Vaccinations required before arrival and are boosted as recommended by our Veterinarian:
• EEE,WEE,VEE
• Influenza
• Rhino
• Tetanus
• Rabies if requested
• West Nile
Note: These procedures are extra and will be billed to your account
Blankets
Your horse will be blanketed at your request at no additional charge. For owners choosing to have their horses blanketed, we strongly recommend waterproof turnout blankets. Be sure blankets are waterproof and have synthetic and/or fleece lining. Your blankets will be maintained, washed, will be taken for repairs as needed and stored in tack trunks over the summer.
